Frequency Table

One Categorical Variable

Explore a single categorical variable. Load a dataset (or type your own values), and the chart and frequency table update together. If a dataset has more than one categorical column, a Variable menu lets you pick which one to display.

Chart type — switch between a Bar Chart, Pie Chart, or Waffle Chart. All three show the same counts in a different form.
Frequency vs Relative — for the bar chart, choose whether the axis shows raw counts (Frequency) or proportions (Relative). This option applies to the bar chart.
Show values — turn on to print each category's count or percentage directly on the chart.
Order — arrange the categories by Data order, by Frequency (largest or smallest first), or A–Z. Sorting by frequency makes a Pareto-style ranking easy to read.

The Frequency Table on the right lists every category with its count and proportion. Once data loads, a summary bar appears with buttons to Explore, Preview, or Download the data, and a Change Data button to load something else.
