Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit TestStatLens

Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit Test

Compare one categorical variable's observed counts to a hypothesized distribution using the chi-square distribution. The test statistic is χ² = Σ(O−E)²/E with df = (number of categories − 1); the p-value is the right tail. All expected counts should be at least 5 for the approximation to hold — otherwise use the simulation.
