The center of the sampling distribution sits at \(\mu\) for every \(n\) — increasing \(n\) does not move the center, it only shrinks the spread.

Draw repeated samples and watch the sampling distribution of the statistic build up. Sample size n and number of samples are two different controls with two different effects: more samples fill in the same distribution; larger n produces a different, narrower one.

What am I looking at?

Three linked panels: the Population you sample from, the latest One sample of n values, and the Sampling distribution on the right, where each dot is one sample's statistic. The sampling distribution is what builds up as you draw.

Use +1 / +10 / +100 / +1000 to add that many samples; each drops a dot into the sampling distribution. Reset clears it. Changing n or the population starts a fresh distribution.
